"Stories of Banter, Craic and being Norn Iron"

Notes

Today we went to Bangor to help the Church there prepare for their gospel meeting this week. It was a long, hot (well…75 degrees) day of climbing hills and stuffing letterboxes with fliers, but it was still good craic all the same! When we stopped for our lunch break, we walked on the Promenade in Bangor. Now, the Promenade has some old, closed-down buildings that some local artists have used to feature some of their work which is where I found the painting shown above. Just another day at the office, I guess!
Anyways, I also want to throw out some prayer requests for this upcoming week:
Please pray for the Gospel Meeting in Bangor. Pray that the service goes well and that they will be able to reach out to people through it.
Please pray for our friend Rory as he’s performing as Frankenstein’s monster in “Frankenstein: The Musical” this week. I just ask that you pray for him to have confidence and strong performances this week, because he has worked very hard on this show.
Lastly, please pray for our friend Colin. He has decided to get baptized in July while we’re all at Camp Shamrock! Pray that he will grow in understanding about Christ and the choice he’s made to follow Him in the weeks to come.
Thanks and I’ll write to you all again later this week!
