Hello Everyone,
Today marks the beginning of my last month on field, which makes this update a difficult one to write. I have completely fallen in love with my home and life here in Northern Ireland and I cannot believe that my time here is almost over.
I will be flying out with my teammates on February 28th from Belfast and I will arrive in Houston later that evening. I will then be home for about a week before I drive to Lubbock for my classes’ graduation. After graduation, I will return to Houston to start looking for a job and to start building a life for myself in America.
In other news, my teammates and I will be hosting a visit from one of our dear friends from America this week! His name is Matt and he will be here with us for a week starting Friday. We are all very excited about having him here for a little while, and I will be sure to take plenty of pictures throughout this next week for my next update.
Thank you all for your wonderful, continuous support during the month of January. Your support during this time has made transitioning out of Northern Ireland so much easier. I don’t think that I could make it through leaving without all of your kind words and encouragement.
